Escala 25, located on the famous April 25 red bridge, offers routes for beginners and more experienced climbers alike. 🧗🌁

You’ll find bouldering zones, a 12-meter climbing wall with dozens of routes and a climbing arch.

📍 Located next to the Parque Tejo & the Vasco de gama bridge and on the banks of the Tagus you’ll find the  « Pump Track Parque das Nações »

You can have fun on it with BMX, skateboard, scooter 🛹🛴… (caution if you don’t own a skateboard, bmx… you won’t be able to rent one on the spot)

3. Surfing at Costa Caparica or Peniche

The Costa Caparica is Lisbon’s best-known coastline, with 26 km of beaches.

There are several beaches on the Costa where you can go surfing. 🏄🏻‍♂️🌊 The waves are small, ideal for beginners, but in summer the ocean can be really flat, so I recommend you come and enjoy the waves at Peniche & Baleal (located 1h north of Lisbon).

Peniche is world-famous for its wave spots. The biggest waves are to be found in winter, and in summer the waves are suitable for beginners. 👌🏻

There’s also the Guincho spot for experienced surfers 🤙🏻

Located 1 hour north of Lisbon, you’ll find one of Portugal’s wildest lagoons, the Obidos lagoon. 🍃

Despite its appearance, kitesurfing is an accessible sport that mainly involves the abs and legs, not the arms. You’ll learn how to fly a kite and navigate. 🪁
