Terms and Conditions of Sale

  1. Travel Conditions

All personal data is required on the registration form.
The minimum age for participants is 18 (except for specific exceptions).
Passaro Kite Trip reserves the right to make changes, but only if these changes do not alter essential services or in the event of unforeseen and uncontrollable situations.

Booking modifications depend on availability and incur an additional fee based on the price of the new dates/inclusions. You will receive a booking modification once the additional fee has been paid. In case of an increase or decrease in the weekly price, the difference must be paid accordingly.

  1. Travel Price

2.1 The price includes:

  • Round-trip transfers between the destination airport and the accommodation;
  • Accommodation in a chalet, house, or room with meals as specified in the program;
  • The services of our local representative;
  • VAT based on the applicable rates.

2.2 The price does not include:

  • The flight to the destination;
  • Checked baggage fees;
  • Passport and visa fees;
  • Personal expenses (drinks, snacks, etc.) and tips;
  • Tourist taxes set by local authorities, payable on-site;
  • Travel, cancellation, and assistance insurance.
  1. Price Calculation

The agreed price in the contract is fixed, and all included services and taxes are covered

  1. Payment and cancellation

We only accept bank transfers for payments.

To secure your spot on one of our trips, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required. The trip is confirmed once the minimum number of participants is reached, at which point the remaining balance must be paid in full.

If you cancel more than 60 days before departure, the deposit will be refundable. After this period, if the trip has been confirmed and full payment has been made, no refund will be possible.

If the trip is not confirmed due to insufficient participants, we will, of course, refund the full amount paid.

4.1 Payment Deadline

  • Bookings made at least 60 days before departure
    For bookings made more than 60 calendar days before departure, a deposit of 30% of the total trip price must be paid immediately upon booking.
    Before the travel contract is finalized, you will be informed of the deadline for full payment. In any case, the total trip price must be paid no later than one month before departure.
  • Bookings made less than 60 days before departure
    For late bookings (less than 60 days before departure), the full trip price must be paid immediately.

4.2 Late Payment

If payment is not made on time, Passaro Kite Trip has the right to cancel the trip automatically and without prior notice. In this case, the cancellation fees mentioned in Article 5 will apply, without prejudice to the right to claim additional damages.
The cancellation fees due to late payment must be paid within 7 days.
If you fail to fulfill your financial obligations within this period, you will be legally in default of payment.

4.3 Collection and Interest

If you default on payment, a free reminder will be sent, giving you 14 calendar days to settle the outstanding amount. If this reminder is sent by mail, an additional 3 business days will be added before the 14-day period begins.
After this period, the following penalties will apply:

  • Late payment interest at the rate stipulated in Article 5 of the Law of August 2, 2002, on combating late payments in commercial transactions;
  • Compensation according to the limits mentioned in Article XIX.4 of the Economic Law Code.
  1. Cancellation

Passaro Kite Trip reserves the right to cancel a trip if the minimum number of participants is not reached 60 days before departure.

The cancellation of a booked trip must be communicated in writing to the travel organizer, specifying the trip details.

Cancellation fees vary depending on the destination and cancellation date:

  • 100% refund if the cancellation is made 60 days or more before the start of the booking. Proof and reason for cancellation are required. Canceled weeks will be refunded or replaced by another week (subject to availability).
  • We retain 100% of the total booking amount  if cancellation occurs 59 days or less before the departure of the trip.
  1. Responsibilities

Passaro Kite Trip is not responsible for refunds in the following circumstances:

  • If a client purchases their flight ticket 60 days before departure and the trip is canceled, the flight cost remains the client’s responsibility. No refund can be requested.
  • If the client is responsible for an incorrect service delivery.
  • If defective services are due to third parties or occur unpredictably.
  • If services cannot be provided due to circumstances beyond the company’s control. These include unusual and unpredictable conditions that could have unexpected consequences, such as natural disasters, weather phenomena, etc.
  • If poor service delivery is caused by events that, despite all due diligence, could not have been foreseen or prevented.
  • If any event occurs before or after class hours.
  • Clients must follow instructions from our staff and adhere to camp/hotel rules. In case of non-compliance and irresponsible behavior, the company will take necessary measures, with prior notification, such as exclusion from classes.
  1. Insurance

During their stay, each guest must have:

  • A medical card and insurance (or)
  • Travel insurance that covers medical expenses.

All participants are required to have insurance for kitesurfing and equipment. Most insurance companies consider kitesurfing an extreme sport. Please check your insurance coverage before joining our camp.
All participants must have insurance that covers damage and physical injuries caused to others.
